Ok, so not really a candy bar, you know I would never set you up for an insulin rollercoaster like that, but I have something else I think you’ll like. One of the breakfast smoothies off the new Flat Belly Boot Camp 2.0 menu has a shake called Almond Joyousness and it’s good for you peoples. How bout that?
Before I give you the recipe I want to have a little conversation with you…..Look down at your belly right now….is there a little wiggle? A little spillage maybe? Take some action. In 21 days you can make a big difference in what you see and how you look. Ok, so now for that sinfully delicious shake!
Almond Joyousness
- 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder
- 8 -12 oz Liquid Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 Tablespoon all natural almond butter (accurate measuring here ladies, let’s keep the calories in check)
- 1/2 Teaspoon almond extract
- 1-2 Tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (depends on how much you like coconut)
- 2 Teaspoons – 1 Tablespoon cacao nibs (depends on how chocolaty you want it)
- Stevia or splenda to sweeten
- Ice cubes
Put your almond milk into the blender first and then add all the rest. Blend it until it’s smooth.
Tip: This is also a great dessert!
