How To Enjoy Your Favorite Foods This Weekend

If you’ve been using my Fat-Free December calendar I made for you then you know that this is the week you should try to shave a couple hundred calories off of your regular daily intake from now until this weekend.
I’m not talking about doing any drastic 900 calorie days cause that will just back fire. Seriously just 200-300 calories a day between now and Saturday will get you about 1,000 extra calories to play around with over the holiday weekend.
The easiest way to cut those calories is just to have slightly smaller portions of whatever it is you normally eat. Maybe swap unsweetened almond milk for your regular or soy milk ’cause it only has 40 calories a serving. Definitely skip any lattes or drinks with calories (except protein powders, of course), that’ll save you 200 calories right there!
For the rest of the week, consider forgoing red meat, even really lean meat has more calories than say, a chicken breast. Normally, that’s totally ok. But since we’re trying to shave a little here and there without starving, take the 50-100 calorie savings and stick with white meat this week.
Get the idea? Shaving just 50 calories from a few meals and snacks each day will allow you to indulge guilt free this weekend. You’ll have your normal “Treat day” plus the calories you “saved” this week.
This is all about moderation!
