YOU Stronger

But first, coffee Find your STRONG.

I was chatting with a friend today and she asked me what my mission was in one sentence.

The first thing that popped to my brain and out of my mouth was that “I want to help women find their strong.”

The strong I’m talking about is 3-fold.

STRONG Physically (YES!) because lifting is awesome and muscles are even more awesomer, ha! I love training hard and pushing my limits and I want to pass that love indexand knowledge on to as many of you as I can.

STRONG Mentally not only to master your mind and your fears to pull or push some big weights but also to be able to stand for yourself when others want to hold you back or down.

For instance; I often have clients tell me that they avoid social situations because they don’t want to deal with people pressuring them to eat things they don’t want to eat.

When you find your mental strength I think you then have the ability to firmly and definitively decide what you will and will not eat and let people know that. End of discussion.

STRONG emotionally which is not the same as being made of steel but more about being aware of your emotions and what your initial reaction to them might be and then to consciously decide what you will do instead versus letting your emotions dictate that.

Take emotional eating because you are sad, skipping workouts because you are stressed, saying things you really don’t want to because you’re angry….

Yes sometimes we slip and we do these things anyway. But the more emotional awareness and strength you develop you take control more and more.

The funny thing is that when you find your strong in these areas, the way you look, move and feel starts to fall in line with MUCH less effort.
